These meditations will require A LOT of discipline on your part. Set aside some time daily to sit for a minimum of 8 minutes. You will need to set up your own timer. I suggest an iPhone Alarm setting - but be sure to silence the phone from phone calls/texts/ and other distracting notifications! Find a place to sit and close your eyes. Become aware of your breath and try to just sit with what is. If thoughts come, remember that is ok! Just notice them and then let them go again. The trick is to not follow the stream of thoughts and get swept up in reactivity or larger story lines. Make sure to complete the write up each day after the experience.
